Thaw Sperm in Vials

Prepare culture dishes (two dishes per vial)

  1. Prepare one 35 mm dish with one 90 μl drop of FERTIUP per dish covered in mineral oil.
  2. Incubate for 30 minutes prior to use.

Thawing sperm in vials

  1. Remove cryovial from LN2 and thaw at room temperature until ice is melted then place in 37°C water for 10 minutes.
  2. Using a wide bore pipette tip, place one half of sperm into each FERTIUP dish. There is usually about 200 μl of sperm in a vial.
