Costs for 2025 - 2026

The cost of attendance for the Vanderbilt MPH Program is determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid and reflects reasonable, full-time enrollment expenses with modest annual increases. Students with extenuating circumstances, including dependent child-care needs, may request adjustments by providing documentation to the Office of Enrollment Services. Costs are based on full-time enrollment and will be prorated for part-time or single-term students.

  • Explanation of Student Fees

    Student Health Insurance Fee

    • Covers the cost of the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) offered through Vanderbilt University.
    • Charged to the student’s account in both the fall and spring terms.
    • Waived for students who have coverage through a comparable plan. The student must submit the online waiver form by August 1.

    Student Service Fees

    Provide financial support for student co-curricular interests, organizations, events, and programs as well as student support services and resources. This mandatory fee is charged to all students. For more information, see the student handbook.

    Student Health Fee

    • Used to expand resources and services in support of student health wellbeing. It is a mandatory fee. Find more information on the Student Care Network website.

    Transcript fee

    • Assessed during the first semester at Vanderbilt. There is no additional fee for a transcript beyond this one-time fee.
